Our Largs sauna

 

Our sauna is situated within the Largs Sailing Club dinghy yard and offers stunning views across the water to Cumbrae, the Kyles of Bute and Arran.

How to get there?

Car

Connected by the A737 to the M8, Glasgow and M74 to England. Use postcode: KA30 8EZ.

There is free parking available. Please park in the “Irvine Road” public car park next to the sauna.

Train

We are a 30-minute walk down the promenade from Largs train station.

The service to and from Glasgow runs every hour, taking around 1 hour.

Bus

The closest bus stop is “Largs, Marina” and is a 5-minute walk away. We are on the 585 bus route from Ayr to Largs.

Walking + Cycling

We are a 30 minute walk/7 minute cycle down the promenade from Largs town centre.

Bicycle parking is available in front of Scotts and the Marina reception.

You can also use us as a stop-off on a longer walk, the Ayrshire Coastal path runs right past the marina.

Facilities

Changing

We recommend arriving in your swimmers for ease, but if needed, you’re welcome to change beside the sauna. A towel or robe can help keep things comfortable.

Food

Scotts

This restaurant/bar is extremely close to our sauna. It is the perfect location for a classy meal or coffee and to warm up after a session.

Courtyard Bistro

This cafe is on the other side of the courtyard from the reception. Head in here for a warm welcome and to grab some refreshments.

Bike storage

There are bike stands in front of Largs Yacht Haven reception building. They have 8 spaces available.
